I use the MePo theme for MythTV. In looking around at alternate music players for Myth when I came across MythMPD. It’s a MythTV plugin that controls an MPD (Music Player daemon) instance.
The default theme for MythMPD does not match the MePo-Wide theme that I run, so I hacked up the mpd-ui.xml file to work with MePo.

Installation Instructions:
- Download and install the MePo theme for MythTV
- Download and build the MythMPD plugin for MythTV
- Download the MePo MythMPD theme file and untar it into the same dir as the MePo-wide theme. On my machine is it /usr/share/mythtv/themes/MePo-wide/
- Run the MythMPD module as per the instructions on the MythMPD page.
